Khmer representation of the Buddha - Phnom Da Temple
Khmer Buddha molding
This representation of the Buddha (granulated pigmentation) by Kong Vibol (graduated from Cambodian Ministry of Culture and trained by the School of Fine Arts of Phnom Penh) is a very precise molding of the Buddha as it is represented in the temple from Phnom Da located in Takéo province south of Phnom Penh. This molding is composed of several materials that form a very resistant set equivalent to the stone hardness used by the builders of the temple of Phnom Da.
